    1. how to work with maya renders

maya crashes all day long when testing shaders for mental ray. its pretty bad. renderman for maya is much better bu tno IPR. vray is good but very slow. if you must use mental ray try using holomatix rendition OR stricly use phong and lambert iwht mental ray attributes added and avoid SSS attributes or your going to crash if your using IPR im doing test renders in cinema 4d with very complex shaders….zero, repeat ZERO crashes

    2. 3d of the day

real time refraction in eyeon fusion is astonishing.  what an amazing toolset.  PLaying with xfrog for maya.  also pretty cool.  almost like having mograph in maya. not as flexible but some interesting possibilities presnt themselves

    3. thats a bit fast

      new version uploading soon

    4. maya 2011

fluid upgrades are very very good. a total game changer

    5. 3d coat CUDA

I start teaching the first 3D Coat class in Chile next Saturday. Spent the weekend relearning the program. It’s amazing. Z brush is more mature, sure but 3D COAT is way more fun to use without the obtuseness of Z or the trendiness of Mudbox

    6. holy fusion 6.1

eyeon unveils Fusion 6.1 featuring the next generation of the *GPU Supercomputing*, *Relighting* and *RenderMan®* support

    7. lol
